Welcome to Healing Hands Hijama, where your well-being is our priority. My name is Ahamad, and I’m a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Ontario with a diverse background in healthcare and a passion for holistic healing. I completed my Hijama training at the esteemed International Institute of Hijama and I am furthering in a Diploma from Hijama Nation, where I learned the intricate techniques of this ancient healing practice. With a degree in Health Administration from Athabasca University and a Nursing background from Centennial College, I bring a blend of clinical expertise and health management knowledge to my practice. My professional journey has been rich and varied. I work as a Community Supervisor, guiding teams to deliver high-quality care in the community to diverse patients. My hospital experience in Canada has further refined my skills in patient care and healthcare delivery. Before dedicating myself to Hijama, I served at Toronto Paramedic Services as a Medical Emergency Dispatcher for 911 and as a Quality Improvement Officer. During my tenure, I had the honor of receiving two Stork Awards for assisting in emergency childbirths. My commitment to improving healthcare also led me to co-author a Palliative Toolkit for Muslims, which is now being used to educate healthcare providers on end-of-life care for Muslim patients. In addition to my professional work, I hold a Yellow Belt in Lean Health Care Six Sigma, ensuring that efficiency and quality are at the forefront of my practice. Outside of my professional commitments, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I run a charitable group with 22 participants, where we provide monthly donations to various causes worldwide. At Healing Hands Hijama, I’m committed to offering you personalized, compassionate care that blends my extensive healthcare experience with the holistic benefits of Hijama therapy. I look forward to being a part of your wellness journey. Get to Know Your Practitioner Muna (Female) Welcome to Healing Hands Hijama, where we prioritize your health and well-being.
